Privacy notice

Intersparkle Cleaners Limited ("Intersparkle", "we") runs this website. This notice explains what personal information we collect through it and how we use it, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

• Quote, contact and business enquiry forms: your name, phone number, email (if you give it), company name, the service you want, your location or estate, preferred date, property size and any details you add.
• Shop orders: your name, phone, email, delivery or pickup details, the products you order and how you pay. M-Pesa payments are handled by Safaricom; we receive the payment confirmation, not your PIN.
• Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Cookies: the site uses only these.
  • Essential, to make the site and shop work: session_id (keeps your visit and shop cart, 7 days), frontend_lang (your language, 1 year), tz (your time zone for dates, until you close the browser) and, in the shop, seen_product_id_… (counts a product view once, 30 minutes).
  • Campaign tracking, only when you arrive from one of our tagged links (for example an advert or a post): odoo_utm_source, odoo_utm_medium and odoo_utm_campaign (31 days). They tell us which campaign brought an enquiry or order.
  • No advertising or analytics cookies. The video on our About page loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play.

Why we use it

• To reply to you, prepare quotes, arrange site visits and carry out jobs.
• To process, deliver and invoice shop orders and record payments.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as invoices and tax records.

Who sees it

Our staff who handle your request. We use service providers to run our business systems, send messages (for example WhatsApp) and take payments (Safaricom M-Pesa). We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become jobs are kept for as long as needed to follow up. Customer, order and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to info@intersparklecleaners.com or call 0115 764 047. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
